You can now play podcasts directly from Google’s search app for Android

Google finally added podcasts to the Android’s Play Store earlier this week. Now, the company is letting users play those same podcasts from the Android Google Search app. Just search for the podcast you want, and you’ll see three recent episodes displayed with a play button for each, along with the option to view more episodes. The podcasts will keep playing the background even if you lock your screen or browse to another site. Life is kind of nice, now that Google has realized podcasts exist.
