We’ve just learned that Nintendo’s new console, the NX, is coming in March 2017, and now we know at least one more game to expect on the system: the upcoming and untitled Wii U entry in the Legend of Zelda series will also be coming to the NX.
The Legend of Zelda for Wii U is delayed to 2017 and coming to NX too
Both versions of the game will be released at the same time, which means that the Wii U version is delayed — it was previously pegged for this year, but now has a vague 2017 release date. The move mirrors what Nintendo did with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, a long awaited and long delayed GameCube game that eventually saw release alongside a version for the original Wii.
