Today sees the launch of TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan, a modern action game that looks to capture the same feeling as the turtles’ old arcade adventures. But if you’re still stuck in the early ‘90s, you may want to check out these new figures instead.

Created by NECA, the new line of TMNT action figures is based on the 1989 arcade machine; not only do the characters feature the more cartoony original Ninja Turtles design, they’re also covered with pixels to give them a real 8-bit feel. In addition to the four turtles, NECA also created multiple color variations of foot soldiers and, naturally, the Shredder as well.

Unfortunately, the figures will be hard to come by, and will be sold exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con in July. If you can get your hands on them there, the figures will be available in sets of four — one with all the turtles, the other with the bad guys — which is perfectly fitting for a game remembered for its four-player co-op.
