Netflix just announced the second season premiere date for its original series Narcos: September 2nd. The show, centered around Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar and the Medellín Cartel, was well-received by critics, and was renewed for a second season before its first had ended.

Last season came to a close with Escobar’s (Wagner Moura) escape from prison, and now that he’s on the run, Narcos should have some new territory to explore.
