Designer Matt Vince made a splash a while back with gorgeous posters that combined Studio Ghibli’s animation aesthetic with Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda video games. This week, Vince has put together a companion film trailer for a movie that will never get made, but will screen every night in our dreams.

The design of the trailer is interesting and unexpected. The characters and backdrops are stunning, but they remind me as much of classic American cartoonists like Don Bluth as they do Hayao Miyazaki and the other creators at Studio Ghibli.
