There’s a new Apple Watch, which means the company’s original smartwatch is getting slightly more affordable. But it’s also unexpectedly getting faster! Alongside the unveiling of its successor, the Apple Watch Series 2, today Apple announced that the original Apple Watch is being upgraded with a faster dual-core processor and a new starting price of $269. It’s also being rebranded as the Apple Watch Series 1. Apple hasn’t yet released full details on the revised Series 1 lineup, but we’re expecting to learn a lot more on which models will be available and their pricing very soon.
