Harman Kardon officially unveiled its Cortana-powered speaker earlier this year, and it appears it will be making its way to stores soon. An early Microsoft Store listing has been spotted by WalkingCat on Twitter, and it prices the speaker at $199. If the pricing is accurate, then Microsoft’s Amazon Echo competitor will cost $100 more than the base Echo, and $50 more than the Echo Plus or Google’s Home.

That extra cost might be related to a bundled six months free Skype calling to phones in the US, or Harman’s speaker could sound a lot better than the competition. We’ll find out once Microsoft is finally ready to let the world get a closer look at its Cortana-powered speaker.

Microsoft’s premature store listing does suggest the speaker will arrive soon, and we’re also waiting to hear more details about HP’s own Cortana speaker. Both devices are entering a competitive market against similar models from Amazon, Google, and even Apple. Microsoft’s will have the unique advantage of being able to access Alexa at some point in the future, thanks to a partnership with Amazon.
