Email has played a big part in our lives for over two decades, and it doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon — but it is evolving. This week, Walt’s column analyzes the persistence of email in a Snapchat world and warns us of relying too much on it. On this week’s Ctrl-Walt-Delete, Walt and Nilay talk about how email affects their lives and where they see it going in the future.

Also, after members of Congress voted to reverse an FCC privacy rule regarding ISPs selling customer data, the episode explains what happens next in America.
