If you’re having trouble playing television audio though your Sonos Playbar then you can take comfort in knowing you’re not alone. Owners of the Sonos soundbar speaker have been reporting a variety of audio issues, apparently linked to the latest version 7.4 software update released last week.

Reported issues vary from complete audio loss when DirectTV is on, for example, to audio loss on just some television channels like Sky News and ITV4, to a delay of up to 60 seconds when playing from sources like Netflix. The Verge’s own Tom Warren says his speaker now “clicks” when switching to smart TV apps. The common link might be related to Dolby audio content.

Sonos is aware of the issue and is working on a solution — it affects about 400 to 500 people, according to a Sonos representative speaking to The Verge. The company is still investigating the problem and asks those affected to send in diagnostic reports by following these steps.
