Google’s expected to announce the next versions of its flagship Pixel phones next week, and that means that if you’re a Pixel owner, there’s a good chance you’re looking forlornly at your soon-to-be outdated smartphone, wondering how you can sell it to fund your shiny new Pixel 2.

It turns out that the best way to trade up to a new Pixel 2 will probably be through Google itself: the company just added both the Pixel and Pixel XL as eligible devices to its online Google Store trade-in program. It’s also offering really good prices on the older phones, as spotted by Droid Life.
For the smaller Pixel, Google is offering $350 for the 32GB model, and $360 for the 128GB version. The Pixel XL gets $400 and $410 for the 32GB and 128GB versions, respectively. There are only three conditions: you have to be trading up to a new Pixel (so no cash), the phone has to turn on, and the screen has to work properly and not be cracked.
Given that the Pixel 2 is rumored to cost $649 for the 64GB option and $749 for a 128GB model, the $350 off is a pretty hefty saving, and better than most trade-in deals you typically see for year-old phones. On a similar note, the $400 for the Pixel XL should help soothe the sting of the rumored $849 starting price of the Pixel 2 XL.
