We’re only a few weeks away from the premiere of the latest season of Doctor Who, and the BBC has released a new trailer that shows off more of the upcoming adventures of the TARDIS team ahead of its October 7th release date.

A new creative team took over the show, and a new Doctor is flying the iconic blue police box, but the core of the show is still largely intact. As Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteen Doctor intones: “I’m the Doctor. When people need help, I never refuse.”
As always, there’s lots of running
While the trailer is notably light on details for the new season — unlike past years, there are no teases of classic villains like Daleks or Cybermen — the trailer does seem to show off a bit of a lighter and brighter (literally) tone that hopefully indicates that it’s moving away from the darker and more dimly lit storylines that have dominated the show in recent years.
Oh, and there’s plenty of running. After all, some things never change.
