Lenovo has a new type of Yoga ready for CES 2019 this week, and it’s clearly inspired by Microsoft’s Surface Studio. The new Yoga A940 is a 27-inch all-in-one PC with a hinge that allows its display to adjust to a drawing mode just like the Surface Studio. Lenovo is also targeting this machine toward content creators, with a stylus and a “precision dial” at the side of the display that can be used to manipulate and adjust content.

The 27-inch display is available in QHD or 4K resolutions, and both panels support Dolby Vision HDR and include the ability to tilt it to a 25-degree drafting mode. Inside, there’s an 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, up to 32GB of RAM, up to 512GB of PCIe SSD or 2TB HDD storage, and AMD Radeon RX 560 discrete graphics. Lenovo is also including a generous range of ports, with four USB 3 ports, two USB 2 ports, a single USB 3.1 port, and a 3-in-1 card reader.

Lenovo’s precision dial can be placed on either side of the Yoga A940, and much like Microsoft’s Surface Dial, you’ll be able to use it to adjust brush stroke size, opacity, and tip size in Adobe Photoshop. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator, and Lightroom also support the dial. Lenovo has also created a wireless charging dock for smartphones at the base of the device, and it also doubles as storage for the keyboard and mouse.
Lenovo is planning to launch its Yoga A940 in March, priced from $2349.99. That’s more than $1,000 cheaper than the Surface Studio, offering up some solid competition to Microsoft’s head-turning PC.
