Look at my new favorite video game slider.
This is a screenshot I took from a cozy little game called Brotato. (It’s currently $4.99 on Steam.) The options menu lets you control “difficulty” in a guilt-free way, right next to the settings for volume and graphics. Plus, changing the difficulty doesn’t block you from getting any of the game’s achievements. I love this approach and I hope more designers take note.
