Twitter just unbanned Washington, DC’s bus updates feed, and no, we still don’t know why it was banned.
Was the WMATA Metrobus Info account caught up in a bot purge earlier today? Did a moderator think its tweets about delays and bus routes constituted assassination coordinates? Does Elon Musk just hate buses? WMATA told the Washington Post it had no idea — but Twitter reversed its decision after about six hours, so hopefully the world’s other transit authorities are breathing easier.
