Unreal nostalgia.
I hate Twitter forcing its algorithmic timeline on us, but I love that it helped me find @DefStan480 — or “Standard Definition Gaming” — a rolling clip-show of old PC and console games.
The account posted a few Unreal Tournament (1999) videos recently and it was like Proust’s madeleine for me. One look and I was instantly transported back to my childhood PC, racking up multi-kills with the sniper rifle on Facing Worlds. Memories!
