Xiaomi is chucking out MIUI in favor of new HyperOS.
With the Xiaomi 14 series, likely to be announced later this year, the Chinese tech giant will start transitioning away from its longstanding Android skin MIUI in favor of “HyperOS,” CEO Lei Jun has announced. HyperOS has a “completely new rewritten architecture,” will be available globally, and from the sounds of things is being designed with Internet of Things devices in mind.
