Google’s revamping Wear OS app requirements... and hiding bezels while it’s at it.
Google’s new Wear OS app requirements are meant to create a uniform experience across the platform. That’s great! But one of the new changes requires developers to use black backgrounds for all Tiles and apps.
Why? Black backgrounds make it easier to hide bezels and the Pixel Watch has thicc bezels. Just look at the photo below. There’s no hiding bezels with color backgrounds.
