Keanu is a real fun guy — but not if you’re a fungi.
As the New York Times reports, scientists recently named a fungus-killing bacterial compound after the actor, in honor of his work in the John Wick movies. “Keanu Reeves plays many iconic roles in which he is extremely efficient in ‘inactivating’ his enemies,” researcher Dr. Pierre Stallforth explained. “The keanumycins do the same with fungi.”
