Just like Amazon’s Bedrock and CodeWhisperer news from earlier today, the folks at Meta want to remind everyone it’s not just OpenAI, Google, and Microsoft working on AI tech. They have stuff too, like this 2021 AI research demo that can animate a child’s drawings.
Mark Zuckerberg, who suddenly seems way more into AI than the metaverse, used his Instagram broadcast channel to announce Meta open-sourced the code behind it, using figures drawn by his daughter.
