Midjourney is going to try “banning negativity.”
Founder David Holz teased the new policy in Midjourney’s Discord the other day during a town hall meeting I listened to.
He said the generative AI engine is going to add a rule prohibiting being “negative about any public figure.” Someone in the audience then called him a fascist and was kicked off the server. (As Nilay told Elon when he bought Twitter, welcome to hell.)
