The App Store is often still bad at serving its purpose.
OpenAI released an official ChatGPT app for iOS today. You’d think the App Store would quickly rank this one above an endless selection of third-party chatbots. But nope. You’re not gonna get there with a search. Even “ChatGPT OpenAI” doesn’t do the trick. Here’s the direct link again.
Apple (or the store’s algorithms) will likely fix this before long. But it seemed like a pertinent observation ahead of WWDC.
