Competition and Markets Authority chief executive Sarah Cardell says the UK regulator is still waiting on Microsoft to submit its proposals to restructure its Activision Blizzard deal to address cloud gaming concerns. “The ball is very much in their court at the moment,” says Cardell, in an interview with Sky News. Microsoft and Activision Blizzard have now agreed to extend their merger agreement to October 18th in order to deal with the UK regulatory situation.
