More from CES 2025: all the news, gadgets, and surprises

Lockly’s latest smart lock, the Vision Prestige, shows your visitor through a built-in camera. It’s a neat concept, but bending down to see who’s at the front door feels a tad awkward.
The video was also quite dark, and the screen was tiny, but it showed the visitor instantly — not always the case when pulling up a feed from a video doorbell on your smartphone.
Corsair is expanding its Custom Lab to personalization options for DRAM. There are eight design options to pick from for black, white, or gray Vengeance RGB DDR5 modules. You’ll only be able to grab these custom RAM sticks in speeds of 6,000MT/s or 6,400MT/s though with CAS latencies as low as 30. Corsair also has a new Wave kit for its Dominator Titanium RAM sticks.
Remember that Virtua Fighter project teased during the Game Awards last year? Well, during CES 2024, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the studio behind the Yakuza franchise, debuted what it called a “pre-development concept video” highlighting what the fighting game could look like from a developer mostly known for action RPGs. The video’s description stressed that the footage was conceptual and doesn’t reflect what the actual game might look like whenever it’s released.
The company’s Gamestation Retro lineup may appeal to nostalgic gamers not interested in dealing with ROMs. The collection includes a handheld, console, and a miniature arcade that ship with 100 officially licensed games from Bandai Namco and Capcom including Street Fighter II, Mega Man, and Pac-Man. They’ll range in price from $149.99 to $299.99 when released in Q3 2025.

Technically, the laptop needs the “Hyperboost” update, too — but after it’s applied to both, Razer says its Blade 16 can run its mobile RTX 4090 graphics chip at 20 watts higher TDP — from 150W TGP to 170W TGP, yielding a 30–40fps improvement in Shadow of the Tomb Raider (here, from 142fps to 184fps average).
The company is expanding its Music City Bluetooth speaker lineup with three new party models that introduce RGB lighting that syncs to the music playing.
The Vegas, Miami, and New York speakers also feature a mic for karaoke and three dedicated buttons that play airhorn, record scratch, and applause sound effects in case the lights aren’t getting the party started fast enough.
Levoit’s new Pet Odor and Hair Air Purifier can detect substances that contribute to common pet odors and increase airflow to help capture them in a four-stage filter.
It also uses a motion sensor to track activities, like if you leave to walk the dog, to create custom routines. It will be available in Q2 for $199. A self-cleaning version will cost $249.
The Hue Sync TV app was previously only available for Samsung TVs, but now you can sync up your lighting with content playing on your LG TV (for a pretty hefty price, of course).
The app, which also comes with the option for a $3.99 per month subscription, is available on LG TVs with webOS 24 and newer.
