More from Amazon Prime Day 2023: the best tech deals, tips, and latest news
Look, the Pixel Fold is the new hotness and we know the Z Fold 5 is coming in just a couple weeks, but both of those are going to cost you close to $2,000. Last year’s Z Fold 4, meanwhile, is still an excellent device and with today’s $700 discount, much more attainable than those other folding phones.
Since launching its first pair of noise-canceling earbuds a year ago, Google has added useful new features to the Pixel Buds Pro like customizable EQ and immersive spatial audio with head tracking.
I’m biased because these are some of my favorite review photos, but if you’ve got a Pixel phone and somehow haven’t tried the Buds Pro, now’s a great opportunity: they’re only $133.
Amazon Prime members can get a multicolored four-pack of Case-Mate’s adorable 30W USB-C GaN II chargers that look like classic iMacs for just $39.99 ($10 off).
Just look at these little charging bros! For $10 a piece you get orange, green, frost, and bondi blue. I highly recommend this deal to anyone who needs a good charger that’s also fun, or fellow connoisseurs of see-through tech,
Part of Amazon’s Prime Day sale, the Chom Chom Pet Hair Remover rolls over your carpet, furniture, and even clothing to remove what your cat or dog has left behind. The tool is currently on a lightning sale for $19.99, about $12 off its regular price, and is one of our favorite pet gadgets.
Asus’s 14-inch powerhouse is currently our top pick for best gaming laptop, and all kinds of different of models are currently on sale for Prime Day.
Here’s an all-AMD configuration (with a Radeon RX 6800S) currently listed at $1,199.99, $700 down from its original price of $1,899.99. This RTX 3060 SKU is down to $799.
Breville’s super-popular Barista Express is $550 for Prime Day, down from $750. I’ve used this machine every day, multiple times a day for the past three years. I’m drinking a latte I made with it as I type this, as a matter of fact. If you’re interested in home espresso but don’t want to invest a small fortune, it’s the way to go.

Even The Verge Merch Store is having a sale today and you can get 20 percent off anything in it, including these sweet joggers. (Or sweatpants, if you’re an old like me.) The discount applies automatically at checkout.

Nomad makes some stylish products, but it charges a fair premium for it. However, the current 30 percent discount on Nomad’s site also includes its new, cheaper Stand and Base MagSafe-compatible chargers.
They’re limited to 7.5W iPhone charging, but they look sick. And for Prime Day the Stand is now $56 ($24 off) and the Base is $49 ($21 off).
I have to admit that I get an instinctively panicky reaction to large insects — especially waterbugs — and so this Amazon Prime sale on the Bugzooka bug catcher vacuum (as recommended in our roundup of our favorite summer gear) is especially tempting: it’s currently $36.99 down from its usual price of $44.

The Google Pixel 6A is just $249 today, down from its newly reduced price of $349. A 6.1-inch 1080p OLED, IP67 rating, and security updates for the next four years? Try and find that on any other phone under $300.
A two-pound jug of my favorite protein powder (shoutouts to Casey) is $28.99, down from a typical $37 to $45. I have consumed probably 80 pounds of this stuff in the past six years. This is a good price for Amazon, but it might be cheaper locally.
The Keychron V1 mechanical keyboard is currently on sale for $79.99 ($20 off) at Amazon, pre-built with red linear switches or brown tactile switches. It’s a Prime Day Lightning Deal, so it may not last long.
If you’re a little mech-curious, we cannot recommend the V1 enough. It’s an approachable layout, it’s affordable, and it both sounds and feels good. Go ahead and let the keeb bug bite ya.
