Before someone can understand you as an investor, they need to understand you as a person. In layman’s psychology terms, there is something called “the big five,” which refers to five broad personality determinants: agreeableness, conscientiousness, extraversion, neuroticism, and openness. Embedded within those traits are clues about someone’s risk tolerance, patience, priorities, and other key indicators of the type of investor someone is likely to be.
