Speed. Rich colors. Vivid detail. Bright, clear images wherever you’re sitting. These are the keys to great gaming in 4K. Add to that package unique tactical features granting you what could turn out to be the decisive edge, and you get GIGABYTE’s award-winning gaming monitors under its GIGABYTE and AORUS labels.

GIGABYTE is a relative newcomer to the gaming monitor market but is no stranger to gaming. It has been a leading motherboard and graphics card manufacturer for decades, known for high standards for quality in an especially exacting field. That experience put the company in an ideal position to deliver the goods in the monitor department when it launched its first gaming monitor in 2019.

GIGABYTE’s monitors had strong, solid global sales out of the gate. Two models set sales records at online retailer Newegg, selling out on each of their launch days. In 2022, the AORUS FO48U won the iF Design award for best gaming monitor. (Its big screen with a wide viewing angle also makes it perfect for gaming or streaming with a gathering of friends.) And the GIGABYTE M32U Arm Edition gaming monitor won a Red Dot award for outstanding design in 2023.

A prime reason for the success of GIGABYTE’s monitors: adaptability. Whatever your setup, chances are there’s a GIGABYTE monitor optimized for it.

Choose the right monitor for your space

Four GIGABYTE models, in particular, offer specialized features depending on your setup and needs:

GIGABYTE bills the ultra-fast M27U as ideal for playing first-person shooters. Its 160Hz refresh rate is the fastest in the UHD IPS monitor market, and its 162 pixels per inch is the highest among GIGABYTE models. The monitor’s smaller size also makes it a good workhorse for productivity tasks at a desk.

The larger M28U, meanwhile, is ideal for a dedicated gaming station, with a 1ms response time on a vivid IPS panel featuring a 144Hz refresh rate and a budget-friendly price point.

If you’re lucky enough to have a dedicated gaming station, you’ll want a monitor that offers great visuals in a compact form factor. GIGABYTE highlights the even larger M32U as especially well-suited for console gaming. It, too, features a 144Hz refresh rate as well as good peak brightness and reflection handling that should also make productivity tasks more enjoyable. The monitor’s HDMI 2.1 port lets you connect a gaming console and a PC.

For a more immersive experience, especially for racing games, check out the M32UC and its wrap-around 1500R curvature. It delivers refresh rates up to 160Hz with overclocking, and it’s suitable for office work and streaming.

ARMed for success

GIGABYTE ARM Edition monitors — the M28U Arm Edition and M32U Arm Edition — provide physical adaptability in fast, accurate, high-contrast IPS displays. They’re a good choice for multi-use environments such as at-home workspaces doing double duty as gaming stations.

When sitting at a desk, you’ll get the best experience from a movie or other streaming content (as well as office work) with a monitor between 2.5 and 3 feet away. On the other hand, you’ll often get the best gaming experience with your monitor at 1.5 feet.

ARM Edition monitors let you adapt on the fly with VESA-compatible monitor stands providing easy setup and adjustments. As a bonus, these monitors also declutter your workspace by keeping the monitor off your desk. You can bring an ARM Edition monitor in close for detailed office work and a visual advantage in games. Or push it back to get the big picture for a movie or epic adventure game.

Changing the game with tactical features

Unique to GIGABYTE are the special enhancements the company calls tactical features. They’re designed to improve the gaming experience and give players a leg up on opponents.

  • Black Equalizer 2.0

Black Equalizer dynamically brings out the details of a scene’s dark areas without affecting other display areas.

  • Aim Stabilizer

Aim Stabilizer reduces motion blur, helping you maintain clarity in the heat of battle — even in first-person shooter games whose realistic recoil effects shake the scene.

  • OSD Sidekick

The AORUS OSD Sidekick lets you toggle display options with a keyboard and mouse, so you don’t have to reach for the monitor’s physical buttons.

  • AORUS Dashboard

The AORUS Dashboard displays real-time hardware updates, including CPU voltage, clock speed, temperature, and fan speed, even with games or other applications running full screen.

  • GameAssist

Among other functions, GameAssist lets you create custom crosshairs, even for games that don’t provide them.

GIGABYTE has continued to up the ante in 4K gaming monitors since their launch four years ago, and they now provide award-winning options for gamers in just about any setting.
