Czech company Verzo seems to be making good on its promise to let customers help decide the company’s future. After complaints about its $459 Kinzo Android phone’s high price and average specs, Verzo announced that it would be splitting the model into two lines, the Kinzo and the Kinzo Plus GPS. The former, now $349, comes without GPS or a car holder, while the latter, which retains all features and accessories, has dropped to $384. Early adopters will be refunded the price difference.

The move doesn't exactly put the phone into bargain territory, but it brings the price more in line with the Kinzo's single-core 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM. The GPS Plus pack includes offline maps of either Europe and Russia or the USA plus Sygic navigation, and all Kinzo phones come with a fairly generous set of accessories, including a leather case and car charger. This announcement also fits with Verzo's attempt at establishing a boutique feel and close-knit sense of community, which seems to be the Kinzo's major selling point. Watch the full video below.
