For those in Japan who never found Android to their taste, Sharp might be on to something. The Q-Pot.Phone SH-04D is a collaboration with Japanese accessory brand Q-Pot, famous for decking out everything from jewelry to luggage in chocolate livery. The phone, designed by Tadaaki Wakamatsu features a “three-dimensional melting chocolate block” on the rear, along with a chocolatey Android 2.3 skin. It’s nothing out of the ordinary specification-wise, but certainly capable enough, with a 3.7-inch 960 x 540 screen and 8-megapixel camera packed into a 12.3mm thin case. The best feature is probably its wireless charger, dubbed CHOCOBED and looking for all the world like a box of chocolates. The phone launches on Docomo on Valentine’s Day, which is actually a chocolate-themed holiday in Japan, and it’s limited to 50,000 units.
