For over a year, European BMW users have been able to unlock their cars, find them using GPS, and set off headlights or horns using the My BMW Remote iOS app. Now, US owners will be able to get all the same features as long as they own a device with iOS 4.0 or higher and a compatible car with the BMW Assist Safety Plan.
