Google hinted last year that it would be adding some Chrome functionality similar to Windows Remote Desktop Connection, and with the release of Chrome Remote Desktop beta, it’s now a reality. Google’s take on remote connectivity (dubbed “Chromoting”) offers a secure cross-platform connection between two computers with the Chrome browser or Chrome OS, including Windows, Linux, or Mac. Of course, remote computer connections have been around for a long time now, but Google’s implementation is pretty painless to set up — all it takes is quick installation of a single plugin to the Chrome browser and use of a 12-digit one-time access code to connect machines. Once you connect using the authorization code you get full access to the other computer’s applications and files. Google wants your feedback, so why not hit the source link below and give it a shot?
