DJI teases an April 16th announcement for what could be the Osmo Pocket 4.

We know Insta360 is planning to launch its own handheld stabilized camera this year, but DJI may beat them to the punch with the latest version of its Osmo Pocket. The company shared a teaser this morning for a not-so-mysterious April 16th announcement that could be the leaked Osmo Pocket 4.

The looting of the US continues.

The dismantling of the US Forest Service is going to be devastating in a way we can’t yet calculate. USFS manages an enormous amount of land across 44 states and conducts useful public research. No more! The Trump admin has decided we don’t need any of that science and is “reorganizing” the agency to be closer to interests that want to privatize our public lands, while shutting down a ton of research centers. One step closer to a Trump hotel appearing on our sacred public lands.

Borderlands on the go, for real.

If you want a mobile Borderlands game now that Borderlands 4 for Switch 2 is “on pause,” you can try the new Borderlands Mobile, which just launched on iOS and was developed by Take-Two-owned Zynga. I played a few minutes, and it seems like Borderlands; it’s an FPS with cel-shaded graphics and quips from Claptrap.

“It’s an amazing art form that is way too limited in people’s minds.”

That’s Brad Bird talking about animation, just as Netflix released the first batch of images for his upcoming retrofuturistic detective movie Ray Gunn. It doesn’t have a premiere date yet, but we do know the main cast, which includes Sam Rockwell, Scarlett Johansson, and Tom Waits as a one-eyed alien.

Signal messages can be recovered from iPhone notifications.

As 404 Media reports, the FBI managed to extract Signal messages from a defendant’s iPhone by accessing the phone’s notification database, where incoming messages were viewable even after the app was deleted. Signal users may want to turn on the app’s settings feature that hides message content in notifications.
