Arkansas could have five to 19 million tons of lithium.

Researchers with the US Geological Survey trained a machine learning model to predict lithium concentrations throughout the Smackover Formation in southern Arkansas, as reported by The New York Times.

Companies like ExxonMobile are already planning to drill for lithium in the area as demand for lithium-ion batteries, which are used in EVs, grows.

Edmunds conducted one of its U-Drag down-and-back drag races between Lucid’s most expensive car, the 1,234 horsepower Air Sapphire, and a 1,020 horsepower Tesla Model S Plaid ($89,990 today) with the $20k Track Pack upgrade that includes carbon ceramic brakes.

The Lucid won both races. Edmund’s Alistair Weaver concludes that the Lucid feels “faster” and “just feels nicer.”

Your Rivian could look like KITT from Knight Rider this month.

Rivian’s R1S looks KITT-ed out on its infotainment screen in a new video with David Hasselhoff driving it off into the sunset. The front of the R1S in the video even animates with the iconic red scanner light.

Rivian says this is part of its Halloween software update and will be available for a limited time.
