AI ‘actress’ Tilly Norwood glitches and starts speaking Cantonese during an interview.

Norwood was on Piers Morgan Uncensored to discuss its AI slop movie, Misaligned. There’s a painful lag between questions and answers, and it routinely fails to answer the actual question. But the most surreal moment comes when Norwood glitches mid-answer and starts speaking Cantonese.

Hacks’ full five-season run is coming to Blu-ray on December 8th.

HBO’s Hacks was a magnet for well-deserved Emmys, and I was personally delighted to hear that the complete series would come to Blu-ray. The set recently went up for preorder, costing $69.99 at Amazon, and includes cast screen tests, deleted scenes, bloopers, table reads, and more detailed at Blu-ray.com.

Sylvan Esso are back on Spotify after an “unsustainable” year off.

The band’s Amelia Meath says they’re back “to continue to employ everyone that we employ,” after what’s been an “incredibly hard” year off Spotify, but implored fans to listen on other platforms instead. Their new album Ow ∞ came out last week, when the pair spoke to The Verge for our weekend questionnaire.

The international rollout of Alex Gibney’s Elon Musk movie was in doubt, but now it might happen.

Universal Pictures, which has the rights for Musk outside of North America, hasn’t put a release date on the film yet and sources told The Hollywood Reporter that they believed Universal would be dropping it. In a later report, though, THR said that its initial article led to meetings at Universal, and Universal’s head of comms said in a statement that that “The studio remains committed to releasing it in theaters internationally.”

My colleague Andrew Webster reviewed Musk this week.

Update: Added second THR report.

Twitch CEO: GTA VI multiplayer is coming in 2027.

Bloomberg interviewed Twitch CEO Dan Clancy:

“We spent a lot of time talking with Rockstar about their plans, and also helping them think about how they can engage our creators,” Clancy said in an interview. “You are going to see this big bump with GTA 6, but then an even bigger one next year when they launch multiplayer.”

In an investor call today, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick also said that PC is “becoming more and more important to our company over time,” according to GamesRadar. Perhaps we won’t have to wait too long for a PC version of GTA VI?

Update: Added new Zelnick comment.

Lofi Girl has a new 24/7 stream focused on house music.

The stream, Lofi House, stars Lofi Teacher, a mustachioed dude. “Once the final bell rings and school is out, he switches gears to pursue his passion behind the decks,” the Lofi Girl X account says. Love the lore.

The stream is live now, it’s great.

A contest to open for Ed Sheeran couldn’t have been better timed.

Sheeran’s tour is on the verge of collapse after he booted Macklemore for saying “Free Palestine” on stage. Other openers, Finneas and Aaron Rowe, along with his backing band, dropped in solidarity. Now a planned contest to open at the Mexico City stop has been flooded with pro-Palestinian clips, memes, and fart videos.

Cat Frazier mattered.

Frazier, who died in June at age 35 after a heart emergency, was the creative force behind the “LOL nothing matters” rotating gif, among other certified bangers. Business Insiders’ Katie Notopolous calls her “probably one of the most influential people in internet culture of the 2010s and how things look now.”

Apple will use the iPhone 18 Pro to shoot some of tomorrow night’s Giants vs. Dodgers game.

After using four iPhone 17 Pros during a Tigers vs. Red Sox game in 2025, Apple will use 14 of its new iPhone 18 Pro to capture “unique perspectives that would be difficult to achieve with traditional broadcast cameras” at tomorrow night’s season final of Friday Night Baseball. The cameras will record “positions within the pitch clock, backstop, foul pole, and both bullpens.”
