Universal’s Orlando resort is expanding in May, 2025, to include a Dark Universe world with a ride called “Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment” featuring 14 of its “most technologically advanced animated figures.” Ahead of its opening, the resort has shared a short video showing animatronic versions of Frankenstein’s monster and the wolf man moving with eerily lifelike speeds.

Unlike the Mac Studio, the new Mac Mini has its 3.5mm headphone jack on the front. That should make it way easier to access in a pinch.

To get a handle on the size of the new Mac Mini, I grabbed my iPhone and tapped the “View in my space” option on Apple’s website.
Here’s how the resulting 3D render looks next to my Mac Studio.
One user on X spotted an “M4 Max” graphic uploaded to Apple’s website. Given that we’ve already seen the M4 iMac and Mac Mini, maybe Apple will close out its week of announcements with an M4 Max-equipped MacBook Pro.
Apple’s impressive size reduction of the Mac Mini apparently left the company little choice but to put the machine’s power button... on the bottom.
At least you’ll presumably be leaving the thing in sleep mode more often than having to power it on. Apple says this is its first carbon neutral Mac, after all.
Apple says the M4 chip in the new, mini-er Mini means that “graphics-intensive apps and games are up to 2.2 times faster” and has a vague chart showing how that’s the case with... World of Warcraft performance. Hmm.
