The president-elect announced that Tom Homan — one of the architects of Trump’s family separation policy — will play a major role in his administration.
In 2022, Homan spoke at a conference organized by white supremacist Nick Fuentes. Starting next year, he’ll “be in charge of all Deportation of Illegal Aliens,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
The VP running Google News, Shailesh Prakash, has resigned, according to The Wall Street Journal, which notes his exit “comes amid a continuing rift between Google and news outlets.”
As I reported last year, Prakash’s org was one of the first inside Google to get hit by rolling layoffs. He told employees at the time that there was a “reckoning” due to the company hiring too many senior workers during the pandemic.
...on Apple’s Vision Pro headset. “Open Hearts,” which Apple describes as a “new immersive music experience,” debuts on Thursday. The company is steadily introducing new immersive content for the headset.
It’d be nice to know a little bit more about the film, but for now, A24 just wants you to know that it has greenlit Bushido, a new project from Hiro Murai (Atlanta, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Widow’s Bay). The studio is describing it as “a high-stakes action film set against the backdrop of feudal Japan.”
