Google avoids a gift card fraud lawsuit.

The proposed class action suit alleged Google had illegally profited by not refunding commissions it collected from Google Play gift card scams, according to Reuters.

Curbside charging is coming to Michigan.

AT&T and curbside EV charging startup Voltpost announced a partnership to convert street lights “across Michigan and the Metro-Detroit area” into internet-connected EV charging posts. That connectivity means it’s easier to monitor and fix malfunctioning posts, as InsideEVs writes.

Despite the heavy spending and the earlier-than-expected series finale, Riot co-founder Marc Merrill told Variety that the company’s “ambitions in entertainment haven’t changed:”

What did change as we learned more was our expectations of ourselves: We realized that getting it right takes a lot more time than we’d originally expected, and so we recalibrated our development, output goals and teams with that in mind.

Jeff Bezos congratulates Trump on an “extraordinary” win.

Bezos, who killed The Washington Post’s endorsement of Harris and also owns a space company with billions in government contracts, was among the first major US tech leaders to chime in this morning. He is certainly aware that one of his biggest rivals in aerospace is run by a close confidant of the president-elect.
