YouTube’s new AI tool yaps nonsense.

We can now see what the “editable AI-enhanced reply suggestions” feature that was announced in September looks like thanks to YouTuber Clint Basinger (seen via 404 Media), and it’s pretty half-baked.

The AI seems to understand that Basinger’s channel focuses on gaming and gadget reviews, but that just means it throws completely out-of-context tech jargon into most reply suggestions.

John Fetterman has posted his first Truth.

Fetterman appears to be the first Democratic senator to join Trump’s social media site, Politico reports.

And in his first post, he called Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s hush money case against Trump “total bullshit.” As Politico notes, Fetterman has been calling for Trump to be pardoned for the hush money conviction since President Biden issued a pardon for his son, Hunter.

John Fetterman’s first Truth Social post: “My first truth. The Trump hush money and Hunter Biden cases were both bullshit, and pardons are appropriate. Weaponizing the judiciary for blatant, partisan gain diminishes the collective faith in our institutions and sows further division.

Zoox nabs Tesla’s head of Autopilot hardware.

Zheng Gao worked at Tesla for eight years, most recently as head of autopilot hardware design. He also spent nine years at Apple on its connector and input device product design team. At Zoox, he’ll lead the hardware engineering team, where he’ll be under pressure to meet the Amazon-owned company’s deadline to launch a commercial robotaxi service in 2025. Zoox’s co-founder has previously dinged Tesla for promoting self-driving technology that “doesn’t work.”

Here’s an official look at Samsung’s long-awaited headset.

It’s called Project Moohan — and if you’re wondering what the heck is a moohan, it means infinity in Korean. Because there are “infinite possibilities” in XR.

Naming aside, I demoed the headset earlier this week and got a sneak peek at Android XR, Google’s new OS for mixed-reality devices. It’s for devs only right now, but a consumer launch is planned for 2025.

I saw Google’s plan to put Android on your face

Google’s prototype smart glasses made me feel like Tony Stark. Can Android XR make it happen outside of a demo?
