“We don’t vaccinate in this group. It’s the foundation of becoming a crunchy mom.”

Facebook pulled back on moderation after Trump’s election, and The Guardian reports on one of the groups that benefited, a popular health-misinformation-filled community called Crunchy Moms:

Another Crunchy Moms member, Emily Loving-Rodriguez, said she had made dozens of reports to Facebook, and possibly hundreds, since she joined earlier this year. The Idaho resident has a personal interest in child welfare and misinformation, and noted a post she had seen recently in Crunchy Moms where someone said herpes could be cured with the dietary supplement zeolite. She said her reports rarely had any effect.

Google has finally added Find Hub alerts when you leave a tracker behind.

After Google previewed the feature when it announced the Pixel Tag tracker in August, Android’s Find Hub is finally getting ”Notify when left behind” alerts for trackers including third-party options like the Moto Tag, as spotted by 9to5Google. It’s a feature you can activate in the Find Hub app on a per tracker basis, and it includes an exception for your home address.

The Stranger Things Tamagotchi ups the challenge with an upside down screen.

If you prefer your virtual pets with a side of gimmick, Netflix and Bandai have collaborated on a new Tamagotchi featuring a Stranger Things-inspired design, and an inverted screen. Functionally it’s the same as a standard Tamagotchi, but you’ll have to get used to raising your pet in the simulated upside down world when it launches next February for around $20.

“We are a data center first company,” AMD CEO Lisa Su says.

The comments, made in an interview with Yahoo Finance, come after the chipmaker reported its “largest and most profitable” quarter in history. Su expects AMD’s data center business to grow 50 percent from Q3 to Q4, calling the growth a “testament to how important computing is” to the AI boom.

Meta is delaying its controversial new business terms indefinitely.

The new terms had come under scrutiny over language that appeared to give Meta broad leeway to train AI on scraped publisher content, even after the company updated them.

Meta said last week it expected to delay implementation past November 20th (which itself was a delayed date). Now, Meta states on its website that the new terms “will not take effect on November 20, 2026,” as reported by Nieman Lab.

Vizio told us it doesn’t ignore ACR opt-outs.

While a Northeastern study showed a Vizio TV sending data to suspected ACR endpoints even after opt-out, Vizio spokesperson Mischa Dunton told The Verge via email, “The encrypted traffic researchers observed is not ACR data, but rather routine operational data used to support the Vizio experience.”
