The Dish executive charged with turning its nascent 5G network into a profitable venture is out. Stephen Bye is headed to Ziff Davis, and while he remains on Dish’s board of directors, it’s not a great sign for a project already plagued with delays. Also notable: Ziff Davis owns the network speed testing service Ookla. Is that a whiff of conflict in the air that I’m detecting?
