You can ride this super-sized Lego Technic motorcycle.

Matt Denton, a talented engineer and designer who helped bring Star Wars’ BB-8 to life, turned a 33-year-old Lego Technics motorcycle set into a rideable electric bike.

The giant Technic pieces, created on a 3D printer, assemble just like real Lego, although a hammer is occasionally needed at this scale. The bike is strong enough to support an adult, but is occasionally a challenge to steer.

Sony’s flagship laser Bravia projector is now even brighter.

The new 4K Bravia Projector 9 debuts with several upgrades including 3,400 lumens of brightness and Sony’s “XR Processing technology” to deliver deeper blacks and more accurate colors.

For those not willing to spend $31,999.99 on a home theater upgrade, Sony has also announced the Bravia Projector 8 delivering 2,700 lumens of brightness and a slightly cheaper $15,999.99 price tag.

Nikon’s bringing tiny camera replicas to Japanese vending machines.

The company has teamed up with Bandai Namco to create detailed miniature versions of two classic film cameras, the Nikon F and Nikon SP, and two modern digital cameras, the Nikon Z FC and Nikon Z9.

All of the replicas in the Nikon Miniature Collection are non-functional, but they do have removable lenses. Unfortunately, they’re currently only available from gashapon machines in Japan.

Let’s all hope this portmanteau for portable monitors doesn’t catch on.

Amazon has become the wild west of branding, but differentiating your displays by shortening portable and monitor to pornitor may give shoppers the wrong idea about what you’re actually selling.

It’s not known if this was an intentional branding decision, but as Overkill.wtf points out, we need to ensure that calling these devices pornitors never becomes a thing.

Clever marketing or a case of lost in translation?

A game of Pong synced to music is my new favorite visualizer.

Winamp is fondly remembered for its trippy audio visualizers, and that’s probably why I’m obsessed with Victor Tao’s Song Pong. By altering the game’s physics, the paddle hits perfectly sync to the individual notes of a song.

You can download Tao’s modified version of the game on GitHub, but you’ll need to supply your own MIDI files.
