    1Password is introducing recovery codes.

The password manager is finally making it easier for users who’ve forgotten their password, or lost their Secret Key, to regain access to their accounts.

Starting today, users can generate (and make sure to safely store) a recovery code that streamlines the process of recovering their 1Password account. However, the recovery codes will only work for those who still have access to the email address associated with their accounts.

A special edition ‘Hyrule Edition’ Switch Lite will be released alongside Zelda’s first game.

After debuting The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, a game where Princess Zelda finally gets to save Link, Nintendo teased an upcoming Switch Lite with a swanky gold finish.

The back of the console features the Hylian crest, and when released on September 26th, it will include a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.

Backbone and Post Malone have collaborated on a new translucent green smartphone controller.

It will be available starting on June 25th and will update the original Backbone One controller with a translucent green shell (reminiscent of the Jungle Green N64), laser-etched buttons, an aluminum D-pad, and glow-in-the-dark Post Malone branding.

The Backbone One: Post Malone Limited Edition Controller will be limited to just 500 units, and that exclusivity is reflected in its $199.99 price tag.

You can customize the mechanical keyboard on this distraction-free digital typewriter.

Un Kyu Lee’s Micro Journal Rev.6 is a purpose-built writing tool that trades the polish of Astrohaus’ Freewright devices for a cheaper price tag. The $169 kit pairs a hot-swappable keyboard with a monochromatic LCD display, a 30-hour battery, and wireless Google Drive syncing. The design files are also available through GitHub, eventually letting anyone 3D print and build their own.

You can build this retractable glowing lightsaber using an old-school magic trick.

Disney’s “real” lightsaber wowed us with a glowing blade that extended and retracted, but since it refuses to sell it to Star Wars fans, the YouTube channel HeroTech made its own using LED strips, motors, and a magician’s cane. The effect is convincing, and if you’ve got the engineering skills you can even buy the plans to build your own.
