Nearly a decade after it launched on the original Switch the game is getting new Switch 2 features through a free update available now. In addition to faster load times and improved visuals, up to eight players can now compete on one screen while both cameras and GameChat are now supported so you can see your opponents.

Ahead of an enhanced version of The Rocky Horror Picture Show debuting next year, the Las Vegas Sphere is adding new 4D effects to The Wizard of Oz, as spotted by The Hollywood Reporter. Starting on September 25th these will include animatronic monkeys that fly through the venue, more pyrotechnics, and additional scents released during key scenes.

The simplicity of the Arduboy is one of the platform’s biggest appeals, but its creator, Kevin Bates, is developing a color screen follow-up in an attempt to “push the boundaries of the lowest cost open-source game system.” To help fund its development he’s now selling an early version of the CHGame Rev0 for just $39.

The Mate XT was the world’s first trifold smartphone when it launched last year but the sequel has debuted with a major change. Instead of the original’s Z-shaped arrangement of folding panels, the Huawei Mate XT 2’s side panels each fold inwards meaning you can only use its larger screen when the device is fully unfolded. Preorders are now open in China, but full pricing won’t be known until September 7th.
