Jonathan Djob Nkondo, an artist who helped shape the sci-fi show’s distinctly alien look, launched a Kickstarter for a pair of graphic novels that look very similar in tone. The campaign already surpassed its goal, and the books are expected to start shipping later this year. (Fun fact: he also contributed to the beautiful new Gorillaz short film.)
Pokopia is out this week, and it’s one of the more interesting Pokémon spinoffs, mashing up games like Animal Crossing, Minecraft, and Dragon Quest Builders. The first two months of the year have been bust with showcases from Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, and The Pokémon Company. And now Nintendo is back with its latest Indie World event. It’s streaming on March 3rd at 9AM ET, and Nintendo says it’ll be around 15 minutes long.
