    Kestrel canceled.

Alan Wake studio Remedy has ended development on Project Kestrel — previously known as “Vanguard” — which was billed as “a premium cooperative multiplayer game” that was being co-published by Tencent. The developer says the cancellation will allow it to “focus more on the other games in its portfolio,” which is probably good news for fans of Control.

June’s Apple Arcade update is rated arrr.

May just kicked off, but Apple is already detailing the lineup of games coming to its subscription service on June 6th. They include Return to Monkey Island, Tomb of the Mask, Rabbids: Legends of the Multiverse, and Fabulous - Wedding Disaster. Meanwhile, the narrative adventure / puzzle game Where Cards Fall is getting an update for Apple Vision Pro on May 30th.

A drawn-out finale for Cobra Kai.

Netflix is really making a meal out of the sixth and final season of Cobra Kai, which will total 15 episodes split into three parts. The first is out July 18th, followed by part two on November 28th. But for the “Finale Event” fans will have to wait until 2025.

    The rad batch.

Crossovers between Fortnite and Star Wars are nothing new, but the latest is the most expansive so far. And that’s because it covers not just battle royale, but also Lego Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival. Importantly, that means you can now rock out as Lando — who we already knew was a great dancer.

Underground vaults are so hot right now.

While Fallout is huge at the moment, don’t forget about that other post-apocalyptic series about people living deep underground. We don’t have a date or trailer yet for season 2 of Silo on Apple TV Plus, but at least there’s this assurance from the author of the novels the show is based on.

    Keep talking.

Danny and Michael Philippou — the former YouTubers who directed the excellent horror film Talk To Me — are teaming up with A24 again for a mystery project called Bring Her Back. All we know now is that it’ll be scary, star Sally Hawkins, and starts production this summer. (Don’t worry: the Talk To Me sequel is still in the works, too.)
