Godzilla Minus One is up for the Visual Effects award tonight, and director Takashi Yamazaki brought his own kaiju statue to the red carpet. Looking snazzy there, Godzilla. (Make sure to check out our interview with Yamazaki about the many influences behind the film.)

We’re about an hour out from the 2024 edition of the Academy Awards, where movies like Oppenheimer, Barbie, Killers of the Flower Moon, and Poor Things are all up for a lot of statues. Those wise words come from Fatboy Slim, and have turned into a meme now that Christopher Walken has starred in both the music video for “Weapon of Choice” and Dune: Part Two. GQ caught up with Walken, who was apparently unaware of the connection. “He’s a very interesting guy, the Fatboy Slim guy,” Walken said. “He must’ve read the book.”
Epic has been teasing Fortnite’s new season for a bit now, including having a gigantic hand literally opening Pandora’s Box inside of the game. Now we have a trailer that shows off some more of the Greek mythology-themed update — called “Myths & Mortals” — which launches tomorrow. Time to grind the rest of that season 1 battle pass while you still can.
