The publisher behind games like Untitled Goose Game and the adorable Playdate handheld is holding a showcase event later this month that will include “a look at new unannounced titles, game development partnership announcements, and behind-the-scenes looks at the creation of those cool games.” Maybe the goose will finally get a title.

Seriously, there’s a lot: Futurama is back on Hulu, The Witcher’s third season wrapped up on Netflix, Good Omens season 2 is on Prime Video, Secret Invasion’s first season is up on Disney Plus, and Twisted Metal made its debut on Peacock.
Elsewhere, the terrifying teen horror movie Talk To Me is in theaters, a cute Hello Kitty game is available on Apple Arcade, and two classic Zelda titles are up for Switch Online subscribers.
We still don’t know when, exactly, the next Studio Ghibli film will be available to wider audiences outside of Japan. But if you happen to be going to TIFF, The Boy and the Heron — also known as How Do You Live — will be kicking off the show on September 7th. Of course, The Verge will also be at TIFF, so stay tuned for our coverage of Hayao Miyazaki’s latest as well as the rest of the festival lineup.
Season 3 of The Morning Show starts streaming on Apple TV Plus on September 13th, and the first trailer promises that things are going to be very dramatic when it premieres.
you could do a lot worse than Talk To Me, which hits theaters on July 28th. Directed by a pair of YouTuber brothers, it’s an unrelenting and brutal story of ghostly possession.
