The ultimate double feature is finally here.

I am of course talking about Barbenheimer. The only question: do you watch Barbie or Oppenheimer first?

If you don’t feel like leaving the house, there’s plenty more out this week. Pikmin 4 is on the Switch, Pokémon Sleep is on mobile, Capcom’s dino shooter Exoprimal is on Game Pass, They Cloned Tyrone is streaming on Netflix, classic puzzle RPG Clash of Heroes has a new edition, and Stardew Valley is on Apple Arcade.

    The stage is set.

AMC’s surprisingly great adaptation of Interview With the Vampire is coming back for season 2 next year, but in the mean time you can check out this brief glimpse at the all-important Théâtre des Vampires and how it relates to Lestat.

    It’s Messi time.

Lionel Messi’s move to play soccer in Miami is a big deal for Apple’s ambitions as a sports broadcaster, and the company is making sure you don’t miss his debut tonight by giving him a primo spot at the top of the App Store.

Here’s seven minutes of EA Sports FC gameplay.

Last week’s official unveiling of EA’s new soccer franchise was surprisingly light on actual gameplay, but now we have a longer clip that dives deeper into how the game will play. EA Sports FC 24 (we really need a good shorthand for that title) launches in September.

    Here comes Toad.

There’s a lot to do at Super Nintendo World in LA, ranging from a Mario Kart ride to a Mushroom Kingdom-themed restaurant. But up until now there’s been a big omission: Toad. Well, now a Toad character will be joining Mario, Luigi, and Peach walking around the park, hanging out with fans, and taking pictures. If you see him, make sure to ask if that’s a hat.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it.

Is to check out this week’s new entertainment releases. Leading the way is the ridiculously titled Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, a big, silly action movie about AI.

Elsewhere, season 2 of both Foundation and The Afterparty premiered on Apple TV Plus, Oxenfree has a great new spooky sequel, Ridiculous Fishing has returned for Apple Arcade subscribers, and the sci-fi anthology Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire is streaming on Disney Plus.
