We still don’t know much about season 5 of Stranger Things, but Netflix did confirm a new cast member: Terminator star Linda Hamilton. Hopefully there aren’t any robots, too.
We haven’t seen much of Zack Snyder’s upcoming sci-fi film aside from a few images, but this featurette gives a bit more insight into what the movie will be like. It starts streaming on December 22nd.
Here’s the premise:
When a peaceful colony on the edge of a galaxy finds itself threatened by the armies of a tyrannical ruling force, Kora (Sofia Boutella), a mysterious stranger living among the villagers, becomes their best hope for survival. Tasked with finding trained fighters who will unite with her in making an impossible stand against the Mother World, Kora assembles a small band of warriors — outsiders, insurgents, peasants and orphans of war from different worlds who share a common need for redemption and revenge.
As the shadow of an entire Realm bears down on the unlikeliest of moons, a battle over the fate of a galaxy is waged, and in the process, a new army of heroes is formed.
Fresh off a new trailer at Summer Game Fest, we have another clip from The Witcher season 3, which is very heavy on action. You can check out the first half of the season on June 29th.
Netflix really wants you to know just how much it’s investing in Korean projects with this reel, which, among other things, provides our first decent look at season 2 of the horror series Sweet Home.
