Epic keeps teasing the next season of Fortnite, which kicks off on June 9th and will include new characters like a sexy cat man and Optimus Prime. Hopefully players won’t run into Unicron.

In the lead up to the debut of the FIFA-free EA Sports FC, the publisher has been announcing a number of deals with the likes of Juventus, the NWSL, and LaLiga. The latest: a multi-year renewal with CONMEBOL, the sport’s governing body in South America. The game is launching later this year, and so far all we’ve really seen is the new logo. More details are expected in July.
You know him as the mind behind Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding, and now Hideo Kojima is getting a documentary exploring his creative process. The first trailer — which features familiar names like Guillermo del Toro and Norman Reedus — is a bit over the top, but it’s also a pretty rare look at one of gaming’s most iconic creators. The movie is premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York on June 17th.
The end of season 3 of Ted Lasso sure felt like a finale for the show, but we still don’t have confirmation either way. Now Apple seems to be teasing that things aren’t quite over yet — but whether that will come in the form of a new season or a spinoff isn’t clear. Nate isn’t talking, though.
Yeah, sure, Nintendo just released a little game about saving the realm of Hyrule (again). But it also has another notable Switch release for the summer: Pikmin 4. It’s launching on July 21st, and you can get a brief glimpse at the new character creator in the latest trailer.
Fresh off the launch of Street Fighter 6, Capcom has announced that it’s joining the not-E3 frenzy with a showcase event at 6PM ET on June 12th. (That’s just a few hours after Ubisoft’s event on the same day.)
It’s expected to last around 36 minutes, and you can probably expect to see updates on the company’s big franchises, like Resident Evil and Monster Hunter, alongside new titles like the dino shooter Exoprimal. If we’re very lucky, we’ll see a new Ace Attorney.
You can keep up with the increasingly complex web of summer gaming events right here.

Fortnite’s current cyberpunk-themed season is ending soon, and Epic is already teasing what’s next: a season dubbed “Wilds,” which kicks off on June 9th. Better use those web shooters while you still can.
