Fresh off the launch of Street Fighter 6, Capcom has announced that it’s joining the not-E3 frenzy with a showcase event at 6PM ET on June 12th. (That’s just a few hours after Ubisoft’s event on the same day.)

Fortnite’s current cyberpunk-themed season is ending soon, and Epic is already teasing what’s next: a season dubbed “Wilds,” which kicks off on June 9th. Better use those web shooters while you still can.

Bird Box was a big hit for Netflix back in 2018, so it’s no surprise we’re getting more. The new film is described as an “expansion” of the original and, as you can probably gather from the title, it explores how Barcelona is dealing with the post-apocalypse. It starts streaming on July 14th.

Because it sure was a packed week in the world of entertainment. We’ve got the excellent sequel to Into the Spider-Verse; a brilliant revival of Street Fighter; remakes of the classics games System Shock and Etrian Odyssey; and the season finales for Yellowjackets and Ted Lasso. Oh, and if you pre-ordered Diablo IV, you can dig in a little early.

Biosphere looks like a mashup of a buddy comedy and a post-apocalyptic drama, and somehow stars Mark Duplass and Sterling K. Brown make that combination seem perfectly natural in the latest trailer. The movie hits theaters on July 7th.

The Sims 4 continues to get updates, and the latest brings it straight to the ‘90s with a grunge content pack. Now I just need a version of “Bullet With Butterfly Wings” recorded in Simlish.
